Britta is a Visual Artist, Writer, and Art Director whose practice moves fluidly between image, word, and concept. From her sun-lit studio in Sydney, she creates work rooted in poetics, atmosphere, inner-connection, and the quiet dialogue between art and place. She has lived in Sydney, Paris, and London, with further studies and residencies in Norway and Iceland, shaping bodies of work that carries both northern restraint and cultural resonance.
Her practice is shaped by time, place, and the intricacies of human experience. The ocean, skies and weather also remain a recurring influence, their ever-shifting forms, their embodiment of majesty and transformation – all that she seeks to echo through her bodies of work.
With foundations in Fine Arts, Design & Literature, alongside an MBA, Britta brings a rare balance of artistry and strategic vision. This kaleidoscoped lens informs not only her personal practice but also her work in art direction, creative consulting, and the independent atelier brands she continues to guide as Creative Director.
Exhibited in Australia, New York, London, Greece, and Iceland, Britta’s work resists singular definition: each body of work stands as part of an evolving continuum, inviting audiences into spaces of reflection, atmosphere, and narrative discovery.
C-Heads Magazine Excerpt
"I'm just passionate about 'being creative', in whatever form that may take. My practice is ever evolving, shifting fluidly across mediums and ideas, yet always returning to the same impulse: to distill the depths of our world so it may be felt anew in greater clarity and awareness. Through atmosphere, concept, or scale, my work seeks to spark awe, stir thought, and draw others into deeper resonance –with themselves, with the subject, and with the world around them.
I give myself complete freedom to follow the threads of inspiration and curiosity woven through the fabric of our experiences. There's always a new project I'm working on. I don't think I'll ever want to stop moving or growing as an artist. It's an ongoing development, a constant evolution, that's just so exciting."
