Beyond thrilled to have work in Volume 2's 175 page print journey, amongst some of the most undoubtedly talented human beings, who have curated and captured amazing work themselves. A beautiful soft palette, oceanic explorations, captivating stories and dreamy landscape and portraiture photography. A feature artwork, and exert of my time spent on the waters of the North Sea. A preview of words:
"...My imagination is little prize for me during some of our longer passages. Nature on epic performance at the best of times, with such magnificent execution beyond any pre-dreamt scene of fantasy. A marvel to be kept sacred beyond these fleeting moments, that will be gone forever like a whisper fading in time, with no kept records only the seed to be held deep within human memory.
The evening's howling wind runs wild through the rigging, singing haunting tunes as if it were held captive in the sails, reverberating thunderously as it passed down through shackles and the taught lines of sheets. No other vessels in sight, we thrash against the chopping water, rising and falling under full submission of the tide and swell. The bow rising up like a powerful Gannet taking flight, peeking at summit before another rapid decent, greeting the deep troughs with brutal and explosive hits; the cold North Atlantic waters exploding down the length of her, whipping a cold sting of salty spray across our faces.
The winds shift, and dropping instantly, the sea calms, it’s agitated state settles into the lull of wide 4ft rollers. The boat eases, self soothing, hushing the moans and creaks in its earlier retaliation to the challenging conditions..."
